Sakura Garage War of words 1 – Sakura Garage saying I didn’t pay costs? What the F are you talking about?

To say I didn’t pay for Project Leopard to be picked up from LA to go to AZ and then the drop off.. Here are the texts.

* I paid for the transport and have the receipts.

* I paid for the materials as the initial costs you quoted me. I also have that receipt (view below)

So you paid nothing in transport or materials, unless you FRAUDALUENTLY charged me for transport and materials.

So let’s go to the original agreement and payment!

$3000 for supplies and pick up of car (auto transport company quoted me $480)

AFTER 17 MONTHS

Drop off (After 17 MONTHS) asked for $650, but I upped it to $1500 for it to be COMPLETE.

“FINISH THE LEOPARD”

I GAVE AN EXTRA $850 TO BE A HOMIE!!! AND THE CAR CAME BACK LIKE THIS

We agreed the car would be delivered completed.

The car was incomplete. NOT FINISHED.

  • Clear coat drips on both doors and rear quarter panels – if that’s not a big deal, why was it delivered like that and I didn’t pay for that.
  • Driver side fender did not match the rest of the car and was like matte and got dirty easily.
  • Hood was missing.
  • No aero – front lip, side skirts, and rear valances.

THAT MAKES THE CAR INCOMPLETE and NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.

But let’s not forget the “reshoot if needed”

  • I don’t know why he “pushed it out in a hurry”. He had 17 months to do it.
  • Painted the car in a hurry, but didn’t paint the aero parts and mirrors (which stayed at his shop)
  • “If we have to reshoot we have to reshoot it. I have plenty of paint left.”  (later when the he did a half assed job, he said he was tired of giving me more time than he was suppose to)

Luke and Greg pushed this “I’ve eaten more costs” and for what? I just wanted my car to be complete AS AGREED. It’s not my fault they did a half ass job and need to redo it. I NEVER ASK FOR FREE anything from Greg/Sakura Garage. But yet, they bring it up and then take it back.

I didn’t ask for a homie hook up or special treatment. I wanted an F31 brother to paint my car and that is it. I wanted to support your business

Owning up to the mistake in hindsight is one thing, but when you have the car in front of you and you’ve wasted months and never communicated any issues… It makes the admisssion weak.

What happened is Sakura Garage took my money, but put my car in the corner of the shop for months at a time. This was NEVER about costs, but about TIME. When faced with deadlines in both timeframes, he waited until the last minute to start working on the cars and realizes that he couldn’t do all the work in a short amount of time.

To make excuses on why things didn’t get done, he blames the costs that he never mentioned to me and can bring up all kinds of excuses, whether it is blaming weather, no sleep, EVEN SAYING I PULLED THE CAR… like he didn’t understand the timeframe and that I told him “I’m flying to Arizona on July 22nd and I will be taking the car to LA”.

There’s this slight accountability on his part, but he blames me that he didn’t do a good job or even a complete job.
