One of the most useful things that Jacy put on the website was the frappr map. It was useful in a sense that people can pin their location on the map. Once people registered, we always asked people to make an intro thread, post pictures and post on the frappr map. When we looked at the frappr map, we could get a glimpse of where people were from.
I used it to let to get a hold of people in the area I was traveling to. This worked with GlennPDX and others…
I don’t know when, but frappr disappeared and of course became obsolete. I was able to find it on web archive, even though the picture of the map itself did not pop up. (java script)
