This past weekend, I was able to see Project Leopard. It has been a long time coming and honestly, this is the most complete the car has been in my possession.
After the SR20store fiasco and INITIAL (BECAUSE THERE IS AN UPDATED FOLLOW UP) Sakura Garage EXCUSES OF SHITTY WORK, I had to take the RB25det to Rival Autoworks to check and install a few things.
(What is funny is that Sakura Garbage said he can do an RB25det easily and that taking it to Rival was a waste of time. Well, His buddy’s RB25det has been sitting at Sakura Garbage for longer than my car was there!!! That is at least 3yrs+ ).
Since late 2022 after I got the car back from Rival Autoworks, I’ve been piecing together everything. Power steering, then the transmission, then Thrice Engineering doing the fab work.
Most of the major things are in place. The only major thing that is happening is modifying the Wiring Specialties Pro RB harness to match the M30. While the original modified harness might have been fine.. I felt that I wanted things to be new as much as possible. Hung has a 3 more plugs to rewire and hook up a few things and he said it can turn over. Link ECU needs to be put into the case… Hung said it will be done shortly… which is super awesome.
I brought down my Enkei RP01s to mount and finally see how they look. I also brought down the headlights as well. Checked out the RB25det so far
